Bridgeworks, realignment and four lane expansion of Highway 7 at Carleton Place, Ontario, including new interchanges, new bridge structures, and services roads for adjacent communities, over 14 km of busy highway just west of our Nation’s Capital. Project profile Locate New four lane expansion of Hwy 11 over 9.6 km at Sundridge, Ontario, including seven new bridge structures and a major interchange. Works involve 910,000m3 of earth and muskeg excavation, 1,500,000 m3 of rock excavation and 450,000t of granular placement. View footage of rock blasting operations and muskeg excavation. New bridge structure spanning 137m over Hwy 401, and four lane widening of McLaughlin Rd. at Mississauga, including approach lanes, bicycle lanes and a pedestrian sidewalk, in preparation for the future widening of Hwy 401 west. Four lane expansion, bridgeworks and realignment of Highway 69 over 6.8 km at Parry Sound., Ontario, including 12 new bridge structures, 2 new interchanges and rehabilitation of 2 existing structures. Works involve 1,000,000 m3 rock excavation, 400,000 m3 earth and muskeg excavation, 500,000 tonnes of aggregate surfacing and 20,000 m3 of poured concrete. Four lane, 8 km expansion and realignment of Highway 69 at MacTier, Ontario, including 7 new bridge structures, removal and replacement of the Moon River and Musquash River Bridges, 2 new interchanges and 10km of service roads for Watha First Nations. 900,000m3 of rock excavation, 700,000m3 of earth and muskeg excavation, placement of 750,000t of granulars.
