Licensed 310T Truck and Coach Technician or 4th year Apprentice

Position Details

A full-time Licensed Mechanic or 4th year Apprentice provides support to the Main Equipment Shop operations in maintaining its extensive on-road vehicle fleet.  Working inside a non-union facility, you will be assigned to perform repairs and regular preventative maintenance on company-owned on highway trucks.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect defective equipment and diagnose malfunctions using, pressure gauges, scanners, and factory manuals
  • Brakes, electrical, steering, suspension and service
  • Diagnosing and correcting the main issue
  • Documenting the repair
  • Assist in other mechanical areas as required

Requirements

  • 4 years' experience
  • Certified Class T Truck & Coach Technician OR
  • 4th year Apprentice
  • Ability to keep all work areas clean and organized
  • Ability to frequently stop, bend, and kneel
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to perform sustained and vigorous activities in a variety of environments, temperatures, and weather conditions. Exposure to grease, oils, and lubricants
