Licensed Mechanic

Position Details

A full-time Mechanic is required to provide support to the Main Equipment Shop operations in maintaining its extensive on-road vehicle fleet.  Working inside a non-union facility, they will be assigned to perform repairs and regular servicing on company-owned pick up trucks and heavy trucks brought in for repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect defective equipment and diagnose malfunctions using motor analyzers, pressure gauges, scanners, and factory manuals
  • Brakes, electrical, steering, suspension and service
  • Assist in other mechanical areas as required

Requirements

  • Certified Class T Truck & Coach Technician OR
  • Certified Class S Automotive Service Technician
  • Ability to keep all work areas clean and organized
